Team members are on call 24 hours per day 365 days per year in any weather and are ready to deploy immediately. Although we mainly assist the police in searches we are also called to assist other search and mountain rescue teams, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service.
The team primarily role is the search for missing or vulnerable people across the county's 900 square miles in both urban and rural environments. We are also called to assist with major incidents, crime scene preservation, the sad task of recovering bodies from locations which are difficult to access and cold weather contingency.
