Training

Tonight the team was split in groups:

Nine trainee and current Search Managers met at our training suite which is very kindly donated by the Deanwater Hotel in Woodford to discuss proposed new standard operating procedures and put them into practice in two table top exercises.

A number of our team were also involved in an assessment of their navigation skills. All team members are required to hold as a basic qualification the Bronze National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) qualification. The assessment took place in an unfamiliar area of the countryside around Burwardsley, with the added difficulty of the darker nights. We are pleased to announce that all candidates were successful and we celebrated in the Pheasant Inn. We now look forward to them progressing on to the Silver level. A big "thank you" to all our team who acted as assessors.
